Records may be wrong, or records may lie. One needs to understand how they were created and how to verify their authenticity by using various sources. There will be a case study in gathering, evaluating, and analyzing evidence; evaluating techniques that may be helpful with more challenging research.

Welcome to FHSA
The Family History Society of Arizona (FHSA) was established to promote the study and worldwide research of member's family histories by instructing each member in the ethical principles and effective techniques of genealogical research, and to assist them in their preservation and dissemination of such research.

The Family History Society of Arizona meets monthly, with guest speakers and varying genealogy topics each month. Our members research their ancestors from within the United States of America and from foreign countries.
