Organization Support
A common problem for many genealogists is the volume of paper, digital files, photographs, and memorabilia that we accumulate in our quest to discover our family history. There are lots of books, lectures, Facebook pages, etc., with suggestions for getting our family history organized. Getting organized (or any big project) is often compared to eating an elephant. But eating alone can be lonely. In the FHSA Organization Support SIG we will eat the elephant together. We will discuss SMART goals and action plans, organization ideas, steps to take to organize, preserve, and share what we have done, challenges we face, and possible solutions. We will encourage each other and celebrate our successes. Together we can make progress toward our goal of being organized family historians.
We meet on the first Monday of each month. The meeting starts at 6:30 pm AZ time. The time for general conversation will be from 6:00 to 6:30 pm. All meetings are virtual.
