10:00 – 11:00 – Peggy Ash - World Wars I and II Draft Registration Cards: The history, how the draft
was conducted, what the code numbers represent, and their significance for family history. Tips and
tricks will be included.
11:15 – 12:15 – George Wolfmeyer - Finding My Family in Military Records: A discussion of what
genealogical information can be gleaned from these records, the sources used, and what Military
Records one should seek out in their research.

2:00 – 3:00 – Bonnie Bossert - Using Civil War Pension Files to Break Through Brick Walls- Has
someone told you something in your tree is wrong? Someone told me my 3 rd great-grandfather couldn’t
be buried where I had him…and in researching it I discovered a civil war saga in the pension files that
broke through a brick wall. But does DNA support the pension records?”
